What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are synthetic lash strands that are made to apply to natural eyelash to create an enhanced natural or dramatic look. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. Single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions should feel comfortable and not damage your natural lashes.
How long will a set of eyelash extensions last?
When applied by a certified licensed professional, you should expect to come back for a touchup between 2.5-3 weeks. We do not recommend going further than 4 weeks as you may need a new set of lashes.
I wear contact lenses, should I take any precautions?
No eyelash extensions are easy to apply and remove with your extensions. You can wear them to your lash appointment. Your eyes will be closed for the duration of your appointment.
How do I take care of my new eyelash extensions?
-do not get lashes wet for 24 hours
-avoid hot steam (ex. showering, sauna, hot springs ect.)
-avoid rubbing your eyes excessively
-use oil-free makeup remover
-do not use a lash curler
-do not pull on your eyelash extensions
How long do they take to apply?
Eyelash extensions typically take 1.5-2 hours to apply and approximately 45-60 mins for a 2-3 week touchup. You lay comfortably on a bed with your eyes closed. Relaxing ambient music is played while your lash artist applies your lash extensions!
Will eyelash extensions damage my real eyelashes?
When applied and removed correctly, eyelash extensions will cause zero damage to your natural eyelashes. Extensions only damage your natural eyelashes if applied incorrectly, such as using too much adhesive, putting to heavy of a lash on your natural lash, product build up and lack of hygiene.
How soon can I wash my face post appointment?
We recommend that you do not wash around your eye area for 24 hours post lash appointment. This gives the adhesive to properly cure without getting interrupted.
Are they eyelash extensions customizable?
Absolutely! We want to help your bring out the best of your features and feel your best. Eyelash extensions come in classic, hybrid, and volume styles. We can create a customized look that can vary from super natural to dramatic and fluffy. We recommend showing your lash artist a photo to get a visual of what you want for your look.
